The autotransformers of AT3F Series can be realized with star or triangle connection. The autotransformers can be used to reduce or increase voltage. Their dimensions and costs convenience differ depending on input and output voltage relation. The most widely used connection system is the star-type, because triangle-type is less cheap; moreover, with star-type connection every voltage relation is possible, whereas with triangle-type connection the voltage relation is possible only with 1:2 proportion.
